Selling a Firearm?
Command Supply purchases selected firearms directly from individual owners. If you have a firearm you are considering selling, send us some basic information and clear photographs. We’ll review what you have and let you know whether we are interested in taking the next step.
We may also consider several firearms from the same seller on a case-by-case basis, but purchases are evaluated individually based on condition, current demand, and fit with our inventory.
Getting started
Text is the easiest way to begin.
The easiest way to get started is to text us a few photos and some basic information about the firearm at (713) 817-6454. Professional-quality photography is not necessary—clear phone photos are fine. You may also email info@commandsupply.com or use the inquiry form.
Information to include, when available
- Manufacturer and model
- Caliber or gauge
- Approximate age or year of manufacture, if known
- Overall condition
- Serial number (optional at the initial inquiry stage)
- Any accessories included
- Original box, if available
Photographs to include
- The full firearm from both sides
- Manufacturer and model markings
- Important markings or identifying features
- Original box, if available
- Included accessories, if available
- Close-ups of any rust, corrosion, scratches, cracks, dents, other damage, or significant wear
What happens next
After reviewing the information and photographs, Command Supply will let you know whether we are interested in inspecting the firearm. Any preliminary value or estimate based on photographs is not a final purchase offer. Identification, configuration, condition, and value must be confirmed by in-person inspection.
Purchases are by appointment. The seller must bring valid government-issued identification and must own or otherwise be legally authorized to sell the firearm. Any purchase will be completed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements and Command Supply’s FFL recordkeeping procedures.
An offer depends on condition, configuration, current market demand, included accessories, and expected resale value. Command Supply purchases for resale, so an offer should not be expected to equal a private-party or retail asking price.
